At Phnom Penh Hotel, under co-organized by National Bank of Cambodia (NBC), International Finance Corporation (IFC), European Union (EU), and Cambodia Microfinance Association (CMA), hosted the seminar on Cambodia's Microfinance Amid Global Financial Crisis with more than 500 participants including senior microfinanciers, bankers, regulators, and local authorities for discussions on how microfinance institutions could boost the country’s economy, promote financial inclusion, and enhance customer protection.

This was such a rare occasion while most of PRASAC’s boards of directors and PRASAC’s management teams also had presents there, particularly, Mr. Sim Senacheert, the General Manager of PRASAC and the member of the board of directors of Cambodia Microfinance Association was invited to present at the event on the Product and Interest rate to the participants.
